Food bank in the North West

Options
I'm currently trying to source food for a foodbank in the North West, based in West Lancashire. Does anyone work for a manufacturer who could put me in contact with someone who may be able to donate food to the bank.

Another way people could help is if they could arrange a collection in their workplace.

Unfortunately the foodbank has had to cancel it's phone line so direct PMs to me would be useful and I can pass details on.

As it is against the rules on MSE to exchange personal details I dont think you will be too sucessful with this idea.

Could the food bank not use a mobile number for contact?

Good luck Food banks are such a good idea.

It has one but the website hasn't been updated.

However, people could leave me a name of someone to contact within a company.

Have you got a local FareShare?

    Is there a local CostCo?

The group works with Fareshare already.

The issue I'm having is trying to find the right person within an organisation to ask which is why I thought some people on here might be able to help.

FareShare charge the charities for the food they have. I'd stick to trying to find a supplier/retailer willing to donate directly.
