feedback 'too' glowing

I've been doing very well on the BIN listings on my private account from the weekend (everything is flying out ). However some of my feedback is worrying me as I don't want ebay to even start thinking they are business goods, these are all just 'things' across lot of categories and all used that I have had in cupboards or lofts for ages.

I've had a couple of mentions of 'professional looking packing' , someone else has just left me a glowing positive with the statement 'a most professional service'.

Obviously the feedback is lovely but I do worry ebay will take a lot of interest. My packaging will be good as of course I package it all the same regardless of whether I am selling stock on my business account or tat on my private account- I don't wrap stuff badly just because it isn't business stock. I tend to use new boxes from my business stock for breakables although for private sales I do try to re use boxes wherever possible to keep costs down- but I'm selling faster than I can source second hand boxes.

Yes I know I am being silly.

I tend to re-use packaging on my private sales and not use my business sacks/packaging-i haven't read my comments lately other than to check they are postive. I do know though that my p&p star on my private acc is just as good as my business one!
It hasn't worried me too much as i don't have anywhere near the sort of volume on that account but have been clearing out the loft so it is quite a steady flow. I would guess if ebay was to have a moan you'd have a pretty good arguement-being that you already have a business account.
Does worry me a bit-but there is always something to worry about with ebay!

My private feedback is always like that.

"very professional business" , "great customer service department" .

I just put it down to some buyers believe they can only buy on ebay - and that all the sellers are shops.
  • Some buyers just do it automatically for a bulk lot of feedbacks. Some sellers just use carrier bags so anything neat and tidy would incur a glowing feedback review

I suspect pickled star is right. I got a small item yesterday wrapped merely in one of those bag for life bags lots of Sellotape and parcel tape and looking like a real dogs dinner.

Sorry - its all i had to hand :rotfl:

I had a buyer bid and win - then ask me to send an XL - and not the Large he had bought.

I said it was a private sale and i had no more. He cancelled the sale and said my shop was crap - and i wouldn't last long selling for just one size of person. :rotfl::rotfl:
