Many thanks for the above - very useful to know. Shame they don't do it more often (or do they?).

Also, do you know what is really the cheapest supplier of PC spare parts? I have been using both ebuyer and sometimes amazon, but always wondered if there was another supplier offering better deals.

    Thanks

yes they do once a week but never the same day,
+ free delivery on orders over £49 at weekends
    also have you tried
    https://www.aria.co.uk
I have never tried them but there reviews seem ok, 99.99 per cent of the time,

Aria use to be good, but their CS has gone down the pan in the last year or so. I spent 45 mins on hold waiting in their q and then at 5:30 the message changed to 'we've all gone home, call tomorrow' !! Even when you do get through they don't seem to know what they're taking about. (OH and watch their postage costs, they'll do a great deal like a 4 gig usb drive for 15 quid then charge you 8 quid to send it...)

Hi google checkout is google's answer to paypal, so you sign up for free, using a gmail account which are free now to everyone, all you need to do is google gmail then google checkout, it took me all of minutes to sort it, you just add your card details, then when you want to buy something online that has the google checkout logo you click on that sign in with your gmail email address and password, and whatever you are buying is there, also get £10 off any order over £30 until 11th june.
    so go to say ebuyer
add stuff to your basket, go to checkout, click the google-checkout logo, sign in, click continue, click ok, its that's simple, I would also use your on-screen keyboard for this, as its new and hackers will be going crazy trying to get into it, using the on-screen keyboard will just give you added security from key-loggers trying to get into google-checkout,
    hope this helps

I used ARIA before EBUYER and found their customer service and returns policy inadequate.
Another good and cheap supplier is NOVATECH.CO.UK
    Good luck

I still use Aria for all my pc purchases and found if you ring up to place orders you can save paying high postage by asking for Royal Mail carriage @ £3.99! :money:

Ive found recently customer service very easy to obtain. If Aria don't have it in stock I use Micro Direct but not had much luck on returns with these guys,.
