Hi -- anyone know of any good holiday insurance companies for the over 65's.
Would prefer Multi Trips and Just required for Europe.
Any help will be great.
Thanks

Aged 70 and 68. Much to my amazement Nationwide ( who we bank with ) and who offer travel cover as a standard "extra" provided you pay £750 a month into the current account - extended the standard cover to annual and specifically including a defined 78 day trip ( excluding USA) for a payment of just £90. We had been unable to find cover in excess of 60 days at any reasonable price.0

Yes, if you are 73 or younger the free European travel insurance via the Nationwide current account is the best option. Insurance cover stops on 31 December after your 75th birthday.0

Nationwide sound like a good option but check out which Insurance Company provides their cover. Check out their rating on www.defaqto.com
Santander used to be good when they were covered by Fortis (bought out by Ageas Insurance) but now their cover is provided by AXA which is not a good idea since they always contest claims and seldomly pay-out.0 -

We are eligible for this and my wife phoned to check on her 'pre existing ' conditions - COPD and other age related stuff which is well under control with medication.
European only, please pay £164 for the year please!
Don't take this cover for granted.0
