Can you reclaim more if you get more

I've got a thread on another section - wife of serial debtor - he is still going overdrawn and I have applied (he signs the letters) for his charges to be paid back.

Can I do it again for the charges that have come up and will be coming up since then?

Or is it just the ones I've already done for him.

Thanks
I'm stressed enough over this - please don't add to it.

Provided he doesnt sign for current refunds as 'full and final settlement' or agree not to claim in future then yes you can reclaim further charges. I would beware though as you say he is still going overdrawn. If it is deliberate and could be proved to be he may well find the banks submit a defence at some point to state he is abusing the small claims process deliberately going overdrawn to reclaim. Alternatively that he is abusing his account so it may well be shut down. Help your friend to manage his finances so he doesnt end up overdrawn, deliberately or not :)

I used the template letter from here to do the request and I can't see it on there about full and final settlement, unless its worded so its not obvious. But maybe we better leave it at the moment at the one try as he is abusing the account - has always treated the overdraft he did have as extra income until it was withdrawn, and is now repeatedly overdrawn without a permitted overdraft. He has admitted he sees an unauthorised overdraft as extra income as well!!!

Guess I should feel sorry for him in a way because as I told him last night if anything happened to me he would lose everything within a year or so - even the house as he just has no control. I've suggested going to the doctors to see about counselling but he wont.

The acceptance of 'full and final settlement' is worded in the letters from the bank not the templates on here so dont worry about having 'missed' it. Perhaps you should suggest he does the process himself in future and he can always use this site as you did. Some personal responsibility has to be taken here and you can only really help those who help themselves, or want to :(
