I have been offered a reasonable quote on Admiral multicar policy for mine and daughters insurance.
DD lives away for uni but is back home frequently and Im named driver on her exsisting Admiral car policy (I have another insurance company for my car).
I have informed Admiral that daughter lives away sometimes and gave them that address, they suggested the Multicar policy.

I dont really understand these multi policies can anyone advise. Thanks.

I have a multicar policy. What do you want to know that isn't covered by the FAQs on their site?

From my experience an Admiral multicar policy boils down to 2 or more cars insured on the same policy, though each car has it's own paperwork. You also (supposedly) get a bigger discount the more cars you insure with them on the MC policy.

We had an Admiral MC policy for 3 years until this renewal when we insured the cars with seperate companies.
For the last 3 years Admiral have been very good at knocking a few ££ off my best quotes to get us to stay with them but this year they couldn't come close.

Have you tried the comparison sites and got quotes for each car seperately? I'd do that and compare Admirals price before buying.

Not really very much to say about them. You get a discount for insuring more than 1 car. NCDs remain separate. As shelly did, we had one for a couple of years but then it didn't seem to make much difference so my mother's car came off it.

It works for some and not for others.

You may find 2 separate policies for less. Lots of posts on here saying they had quotes and they came out a lot more than 2 separate policies.
