Taking out a 0% card and not paying it off before the interest period ends?

    In a perfect world you would pay it off before the end of the 0%, but many dont and that isn't what it is always about.

    You will have still saved interest during the 0% period with less interest charged and more debt paid off.

    At the end of the deal, look for another 0% deal to shift the balance on to and continue being charged no interest.
