No claims discount as named driver

Hi,
I Would very much appreciate any help in the following matter.
I have been a named driver on my mothers policy now for 3 years. Each year we have changed insurance providers and are currently with morethan. My mother has accumulated 3 years no claims as a result. I am beginning to use the car more often now, and it would make sense to take out an insurance policy in my own name.
My question is: are there any insurance providers who will take into account my 3 years as a named driver, and give me a 'no-claims' discount, i.e. essentially transfer the NCD from my mother to me- I know their are certain companies that allow NCD to be transferred between partners, but what about between parent and child? Alternatively, if there is no one who will transfer the NCD, is their anyone who will take my driving experience into account? e.g. give me 1 years, or 2 years NCD instead.
Just to clarify, my mother still uses the car more then me (which i believe means there is no fronting), but i'd like to begin to use it more provided I can get a decent quote.

Usually only the company your the named driver with. A company may offer a discount but you need to call and ask.
Will your mum be giving up driving and the car when you take out a policy?
This is a trick question and any answer you give will be wrong
And make the insurance think you were really fronting.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
