Frozen Cream - still available?

Back in the days of Bejams I remember my mum used to by bags of frozen cream. They were like frozen sticks (looked almost like mini milks without the lolly stick) that you could defrost as needed.
Does anyone know if you can still buy these? I sometimes use cream for cooking but not a lot and would be handy to have these in the freezer.
If not, is it ok to pour double cream into ice cube trays and freeze to make my own?
Many thanks

Double cream freezes well, but it freezes better whipped. You could make your own frozen 'blobs' by dropping spoonfuls on a baking tray, freezing and then bagging them up to use as needed.0

We had frozen sponges as a treat when I was a child -- I found them! I thought they'd gone long ago.

Am I the only one who really misses Bejam?0 -
Just make your own, pour cream into ice cube bags, freeze then use as required.0

AFAIK Brake (formerly Brake Brothers) is a foodservice supplier only and doesn't do retail. Eismann went into receivership and I think Eskimo Frozen Foods went bust too. KFF is only a foodservice supplier also.
Ocado has Birds Eye Arctic rolls though, 2.39 for 260g.0 -
I miss the cream sticks too - they would be especially handy at this time of year!
In fact, I miss them so much, I've sent Iceland a message via their Contact Us page on their website. I doubt I'll get a response, but if I do, I'll let you know!I wish I was a glow worm, a glow worm's never glum
Cos how can you be gloomy, when the sun shines out your bum?0
