Book for new siblings?

Hi there - I'm looking for recommendations for a book to give a toddler who is about to get a baby brother/sister. I don't necessarily want the "baby in mummy's tummy" type, but more to help them deal with sharing etc.
We have a really old book called "The cat who stamped his feet" about a cat who didn't like it when a new kitten moved in, so went to live in the attic in protest. Something like that would be ideal, but I can't find it in print anywhere!
Does anyone have any recommendations?
TIA

I love the Katie Morag books - such a vivid description of a life different to most children's, yet with the same worries & delights that all children experience.
Tiresome Ted is about a new sibling: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Katie-Morag-Tiresome-Mairi-Hedderwick/dp/184941095X/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1353450077&sr=1-1
I love the illustrations of the harassed parents, and of Katie Morag's smile when she gets things right!
The whole series deals with the anxieties that most children experience, in an unsentimental way, whilst celebrating families.0 -
Little Tiger's Big Surprise by Julie Sykes was quite fun in preparing a toddler for a new baby.0

Check your local library childrens section, and have a chat to the librarians, they will probably have lots to choose from and you can read them without having to buy them, so you can work out which ones suit you best, very MSE!current debt as at 10/01/11- £12500
