Is it possible to claim back For assurance?

    Do you mean for mis-selling?
If so why do you believe you were mis-sold.
No you cannot simply claim back, you need to prove there was a problem and provide reasons.

What do you mean? It does provide insurance.
Paying Its something to to with my morgage.

Probably to pay the mortgage if you die. Often it's a good idea which makes mis-selling hard to prove.

Can you tell us why you thikn the advice you got was wrong or flawed?
The fact that you're now alive and didn't claim doesn't count as a valid reason I'm afraid :-)

Life cover is known as "assurance" rather than "insurance" because you were insuring an event which was definitely going to happen. The only imponderable being when it might take place.

Insurance is cover for a possibility rather than a certainty.

Did you have someone dependent on you, or you wished to be able to repay the mortgage and own your property in the event of your death?

Assurance is insurance. Life assurance is insurance.

    Are you immortal?

Surely you are happy that you didnt have to claim.
