Cashback vs Clubcard

in Credit cards
Hi, Just wondered what peoples opinions were (I'm not very clued up when it comes to finances etc)
At the moment I have one credit card which is with Tesco - I spend around £150-£200 per month.
Obviously I earn Clubcard points which can then be converted to 4X the amount for cinema tickets or meals.....
However would I possibly be better off with a cashback card?

In a word, yes. However would I possibly be better off with a cashback card?
Your Tesco card gives you 0.25% cashback, which is quadrupled to 1% when you convert it.
But check this out - you can get up to 5% in certain circumstances:

Thanks - I wasn't sure what the 'cashback' value from Clubcard points amounted to.
I'll have a proper read of that article tomorrow - baby brain has kicked in so it's milk & bed for me now!

Whilst you have that card, get a friend or family to have one too, then send in the "I've recommended someone" slip and get 1000 points each, worth upto £40 each. They can cancel the card after 3 months then you can recommend someone else

I've spent a total of about £20 on my card, recommended a few people and kept swapping 250 points for £10 meal vouchers.0 -

How do I go about reccomending someone to get the extra points.
If I reccomened my wife will she get 1000 points and so will I?
I'm actually kicking myself as when I applied for my creditcard last week I didnt use the correct link for the 1000 and just went through the normal webpage.0 -

Actually, its not too late to earn yourself the 1000 points because you submit the recommendation form after the new creditcard account is opened.atlantis187 wrote: »I'm actually kicking myself as when I applied for my creditcard last week I didnt use the correct link for the 1000 and just went through the normal webpage.
