sky versus NTL

I signed up to Sky as they told me I could get 3 for £26. I know they exclude the bt rental. I got 3 for £30 with NTL but I thought I could save money with the phone and free broadband.
However after being assured I could get the free broadband and deal for £26-they now tell me that the cheap broadband is not available in this area. They checked before and said it was.
I think they knew it wasn't but wanted me to sign up and I feel it is a cheap trick. He says their broadband is very competitive at £17 cheaper than BT (which I wouldnt have anyway)and I said well the ntl BB was only £6 a month.
Has anyone else been duped like this?and feel angry.

Remember the 3 for £26 deal doesnt include the price of the line rental (£11) , so its actually £37 you'd be paying . NTL/Virgin Medias deals always include the price of the line rental .
$ky are also claiming on their website that 70% of the UK can get the cheap broadband , but if you read the small print it says 50% can get it now and another 20% will get it later this year . Very sneaky .
If you'd have stayed with Virgin Media you might have gotten a good retention deal . Does $ky have a cooling off period , allowing you to cancel .0 -
I have already had the tv dish installed now. They said I needed to have all 3 to get the free installation but today he hadn't heard this and said it was still free as I had the TV.So I am getting different info so I wrote direct to Sky.
So I could go elsewhere for the phone and broadband so I have been looking around0
