    Redundacy is probably a good option for the employer as long as any selection process would select the OP.

    As uncertain says, this is not relevant as OP does not have 12 months' service.
    I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.

    And even if this did creep over the year by the time the firm get round to it the payout would be minimal.

    OP - DON'T listen to the grapevine. You've got yourself into a state over unsubstantiated rumours. Go the the meeting, see what happens, take it from there.
