Outlook Express and attachments....help please!

Options
I have a work email account with Outlook Express. I have to now order certain items that I need for my job via an online form, a copy of which was sent to me by email today. Previously, I was able to fax the form but now it all has to be done via email.

The form is in the form of a spreadsheet with "cells" that I have to fill in for quantities required etc. Apparently, I have to fill in the form, which I've done, and then email it back but I have no idea how to attach it to the email. The form was sent as an attachment but I honestly can't see a way of attaching it to the return email.

Sorry to be so stupid but I've only just got access to a work computer and I'm not really familiar with Outlook! Any help would be enormously appreciated.

Definitely Outlook Express.....didn't realise they were two different things!

Click the paper-clip button, then navigate to the folder containing your saved spreadsheet.

Sorry, sorry, ignore everything I said earlier.....it's Outlook Web Access, NOT Outlook Express.

Because it's a work email and I have to access my mail from various different computers (I don't work in the office every day), it's not a file that I can "save" on the pc, if that makes sense? When I open the form, it has a web address in the browser bar, I've tried copying and pasting the address onto the return email but the cursor won't let me click on it.

Sorry if it's not making much sense, I can't open the form properly at home, I've only got OpenOffice and it only lets me open it in "read only" format.

I'm not completely computer illiterate but this is driving me nuts!

In OWA, are you doing a Save target as... on the attachment?
I would defer to someone who uses Open Office, but this article suggest there is a "read only" checkbox to deselect in the File Open dialogue box.

Sounds like you might be on an Intranet?.....a work-only computer network? If so, you will need to get security permissions off the i.t guy/gal. Do you have to log-in to the workplace computer?

Yes, I have a fob to log onto the intranet outside of work but I can also access my emails via the web. I really will have to ring the IT guys, who no doubt will ask me to turn the computer off and then on again *sighs*

I wouldn't mind, but all this faffing about just to order a few bits of bloody paper!

    Thanks for all replies!
