went to comet yesterday as hoover blew up, and thought would prob need new one sooner or later.
they had one on the shelf (a cylinder type one) with 30% off as it was the last one, sign said has no tools. so said i'll have that, and the bloke says oh by the way there is no hose to go with it, pardon i say, how does it work without a hose? and he says thats not his problem. how can they possibly justify selling a hover, even with 30% off that is unworkable?? >:(

Was in John Lewis at the weekend, looking through their art section..(dont ask!   ???) and one of their paintings originally 160 pounds had a massive hole in the middle.......20 pounds off sticker trying to cover the hole...who would pay 140 pounds for a wrecked painting....!!!  :o

You could find out how much the hose costs from the manufacturer - and see if it is less than the discount to see if it's worth it. Also you should check out some oneline price comparison sites to see if you can find it cheaper online - or a better one for the same money. Miele make very good ones - they were voted the best buy by Which magazine.

sadly tried that yesterday and as hoover is discontinued they have none.
