Train Tickets on Collection with Debit Card

  • I have recently had the same problem - tickets purchased for travel in a couple of weeks, credit card frauded and card cancelled, can't collect tickets....

Anyway, after Marylebone station telling me they couldn't do anything to help, and SouthEastern telling me on the phone that I needed to apply for a refund and repurchase the tickets (at greater expense), I went to Paddington station, showed them my ID and reference number, and they printed the tickets out there and then. Problem solved!

On the previous thread it was suggested that any card would work if you bought from one company and collected tickets from a different train company's machine as the card details would not be available to the second company.

OP, have you tried collecting with a different card to see if it works (despite what they say)? If you can't get your tickets and LM refuse to help I would contact your card company to start a chargeback.

I suspect the Op may have done something about it by now, as you cant book a year in advance.

Just a heads up though collecting with a different card definitely works

Added some words to your statement.

I am sure that a different card has worked for you sometimes, but I am equally sure that different card will not always work for everyone.
