Thanks, dreaddan, cannot find one below £952 with cabinet, I think that's the best price, so far, pity it is much more expensive at JL. I think, we wil go for the panny 37".

I bought mine with a pedestal stand, and got a glass cabinet, you can get them from Ebuyer for around £40 or less , i paid £797 for my 42" inc 5 year warranty on a double the difference price promise.

Personally i dont like the cabinet as its very restrictive, we have ours against the wall and the stand svivels so takes up alot less room

Heres a pic of my setup

I wouldnt spend nearly 2k on a LCD for watching sports its a no brainer its has to be plasma, there is instant responce on a plasma a LCD take a few miliseconds and you can get smearing, also you get true blacks LCD's cant display true blacks.

Yes, it is a good price and they have decent cabinet at half prize. If only I could get another couple of guarantee, I will be happy. It's just, we have always bought a sony tv as our main tv, I have got panasonic & vhs recorder in my bedroom and cannot complain. Thanks for your help.

this place has them for £878.
Check what JL's price match policy is as they may match the price.
