Redundancy, Was Full Time Now Part Time Payout ?

I hope I can explain this well enough to make it clear, I will use a hypothetical example of my situation to make it easier so I do not have to calculate everything.
I worked from 2000 to 2010 full time on a salary of £20k, in 2010 we had staff being made redundant, and I was offered a suitable alternative in the company and survived this round of redundancy.
In 2010 I was slotted into a new job after the shake-up. This Job was £21k per annum but it was part-time so I earned 18k per annum.
Back to now, in December 2012, the whole dept is now being laid off, some natural redundancy others through relocation so I am one of the people being made redundant.
Should I be paid redundancy calculated on my two separate rates of pay over my time served or is it calculated on the salary I am getting at the time of redundancy, in this case £18k.
Many thanks for any help. ;o)

Ah thanks I did know that part, sorry I might not have made myself 100% clear in my time hear I have been on two different rates of pay both full under the capped amount.
I was wondering if It would be or should be calculated on the amount I earned whilst I worked here for 10 years final £20k and the last two years £18k so it would final payout different.
Or would it all be calculated on £18k no matter what I earned in the past, many thanksGo confidently in the direction of your dreams!0 -
