Hi,
We are looking to buy my mum a tablet for christmas - so far dad has researched and thinks the Google Nexus is the best for her but i thought i'd see what everyone recommends.
Basically she's wanting one specifically to use for Facebook and the games on there - I realise not many are Flash compatible so does that mean we just need to download the specific apps for those games, and is the Nexus the best choice for this?
We cant afford an ipad and as this is definatly not flash compatible isnt really an option.
TIA x

I think you could manually install flash in android. But it is not officially supported.
Do you want 10" or 7"?0 -
These games are generally designed for a mouse and keyboard, rather than touch. Flash for Android isn't quite the same as Windows, so the games mightn't work, and Adobe aren't developing it any more, and Google don't support in any more on Android. Is that enough negatives?! A netbook would be a better solution.0

thanks - kind of! basically my mum really loves the little games she plays on facebook and wants a tablet that she can use to play the same games - i think a lot of them are now available as an app that connects to facebook? we've seen a few that still support flash, no preference to size. My sister has recently purchased a gemini joyTAB that seems ok, wondered how it matched up to the nexus?0

The Nexus will be better than that, no doubt. Faster, better battery life, higher res screen etc, but I just don't know how it will do with these specific games. Netboox with Windows on it is the most flexible solution.0
