Groupon Credit

About a year ago I spent around £185 on a Groupon deal, but after being trying and trying to contact the company for whom the deal was with for a few weeks, I finally got through to them and they told me earliest appointment was in a 3 months!!

So I contacted Groupon who refunded me £185 in credit. I did ask for a refund to my account but they said they are unable to offer me this as a few weeks had lasped.

The credit had an expiry date of Jan 2013. I have spent some of it, but still have £125 remaining which I dont want to lose. Likewise I dont want to just spend it for the sake of spending.

Is there anyway to get Groupon to refund the remaining balance of my credit straight to my account.

Thanks in advance.

I am not sure what the situation is as you accepted the groupon credit - I think you are perhaps relying on their goodwill now

I would e-mail them and explain the situation to them, askign them to either extend the credit expiry date or send you the money

For future reference - Groupon will automiatically offer you groupon credit, but if you reject it, they will refund the money if the company is unable to fulfil a deal.

Email them and ask, do this as soon as possible as if they say no you will still have the opportunity to use it until it is too late. Shame you didn't oust for a cash refund to be honest
