You need to post the exact model and network it's on, and you may find there is no other ROM available.

Once people know the make and model we can find out if there are possible upgrades.

I have 2 a samsung galxay 3 with wifi that drops down every 2 minutes and a xperia mini which overheats .
The firmware is not on sonys list for ics My biggest problem is there are roms but my skills with upgrading are lacking .I've seen guides but its over my head in all truth

They know everything there is to know about ROMS, rooting etc and will know if something's available.
