They will probably file a defence at the last minute. See what happens when the time is up and come back.next problem is citi cards i requested charges back then threatend court in letter 2 reply from them today is very nasty and clearly states that i am trying to make a profit !! from my default charges the letter states that they have won every case that has taken to them to court over charges , has anyone had the same problems as this , im stressed over it
Citi cards are very agressively defending claims. If you go to court, they will most likely offer the difference between £12 and the charge as a refund.
It's up to you whether you accept this. If not, they have used various tactics such as attempting to get the case transferred to their local court, stating they have successfully defended a dozen or more claims and generally putting the frighteners on the claimant.
Do a search for 'Citi' on this forum and you will see some examples of how they try to defend.0 -
i filed the claim against llyods in the local court office so as the date is up on friday do i go into court again to do the next step0
