eeeekkkk... help?

Hello,

I have been lurking on here forages but have been prompted to write as I just cant carry on any longer without taking action. Im so ashamed of this situation and am at a point where i just dont know what to do, i dont know how to keep juggling everything and Im feeling, well, a bit stuck.

I have just completed the budget planner which I will post next inthe form of a very sketchy SOA, I would love it if some of you would take a look and advise me what the hell I should do.

My problem (apart from the fact I spend too much) is that my income is all over the place. Im self employed as a nanny, cleaner and carer and they all take various holidays and pay me as and when - expecially social bloody services.... this makes it much harder to budget as I dont know what is coming in from one week to the next. Im not making excuses, im poo at budgeting and I hold my hands up... i just didnt want you all to shout at me :(

Ok.... SOA coming up next....

Btw - thank you. I really appreciate any help you can give me and even for reading this far x

Can you get an evening or weekend job? Many apologies if you have already stated/implied that this isnt an option, Im tired and couldnt remember all of your post.

Im sure you know that minimum payments arent going to make a big dent. but a few savings (I reckon my suggestions add up to approx £320) and a part time weekend job (£200 p/m) thats £520 EXTRA to throw at those debts :j no probs, you'll be debt free in no time :T

Even though your stuck in a contract with your mobile provider, you can still opt to go to the lowest tariff.
  • I am in a similar position to yourself, in that I don't know from one week to the next what I will be paid.
I am a bit of a bookworm too, now I get my books from the library instead of buying them.
I buy my clothes from Primark - previously I was a Next and Wallis girl.
I love to eat out but can't afford it now so I often scrounge a dinner from friends and family and take a cheapo bottle of wine with me.

it would seem that you need to get a permanant job so you know where you stand and do the others around it. You also haven't said what you do about your tax, if you are self employed you will need to save up for this and you also will not have any sick pay or pension if you are on reduced NI.

  • You can get books from Amazon, almost new, really cheaply & you can also sell any books you are not too keen on or will not read again. Can also sell clothes that no longer fit on ebay & buy new ones there too, great bargains to be had.
