What's the best thing to do in this case?
Considering I'd prefer paying until the 20 June or maximum 20 July.

billquestion, you still seem to have not read the very helpful advice that has been given to you on here.

Right at the start of this thread Fire Fox told you that, according to the information you supplied, your tenancy agreement would end on the 19th of a month and not the 20th as you keep insisting. If you stay after this date you become liable for another month.

Since notice was not correctly served it would be best to get written agreement as to what date the tenancy is agreed to be surrendered.

    .... or this ....

You would be wise to serve proper notice to quit now IMO.

.... in order to establish an agreed end date for the tenancy?

    What about this ... ?

The OP should communicate with the landlord in writing over the issues about incorrect notice and when the tenancy actually ended. Then he should communicate with every utility company and pay what he owes.

You need to establish the end date of the tenancy by agreement with the landlord, then pay all the bills up to that date.

Thank you. How would you establish an end date with such an unresponsive landlord? What kind of a letter should I write to him and what kind of delivery should I use. What if he doesn't respond my mail?
