My PC doesn't have a DVI Port but I've bought a Hanns G Monitor which has one according to what I've read online it's a DVI-D Dual Link port - I'm using VGA at the moment but tempted to get a DVI cable so that I can really put it to the test - I've tried looking online but can't seem to find a DVI-D - Analogue cable.
Any help would be appreciated!

You can get DVI-VGA adapters, I got one with my Graphics card I bought a few years ago.
Check this place out.0 -
zulubabe, I don't think you will find a DVI-D to analogue cable, the converters are DVI-I to VA, there is a difference. I was looking for a similar cable so that I could run my laptop through the second (DVI-D) connector on my monitor, but failed. Maplin have some cables and adapters available.
It's a topic that is complicated because of the various standards, the best I can offer is http://www.datapro.net/techinfo/dvi_info.html
It helped me understand the problem a bit better.0
