Can anyone help with my First Direct query?

On the site it says:
"A big plus is that the First Direct* 1st account is one of our top picks. New customers get a £125 bonus, earned by depositing at least £1,500 a month;"
This might sound silly but would it count if I just shifted money to the account and then took it out? Could I put £500 in and transfer it in/out 3 times to reach the total needed?

Its £1,500 per month, so £500 per week is fine.
You'll need to use their 'Easyswitch' to transfer 2 DDs and/or SOs though.0 -
