Hi all

We have all been waiting to exchange for 3 months
There's 4 of us in chain

Bottom chain seems to be taking his time to do things.
We are waiting on him to return mortgage paperwork
Back and gathering his deposit
he said he will return paperwork and it's been nearly 5 weeks.
My mortgage offer exp end December 12
Dunno what to do.

Average sale takes around 12 weeks. Has it only been 5 weeks from start to now? I presume yes as that leaves around 6 weeks or so til the Dec date you mentioned. I had a 3 month mortgage offer too which did expire due to problems with our purchase (it all took 5 long months in the end!). The mortgage provider managed to extend our offer (best not left til the last minute!).

Definitely wouldn't be putting pressure on to complete just yet(!), but would certainly be chasing and, as above, getting the EA to keep the ball rolling.
