Panasonic phones with incoming call barring?

Our present BT cordless phones are showing signs of old age - frequent battery replacements, intermittent faults, etc and I have decided to replace them.
I'm looking at the KXTG8324 (we need 4 handsets) to get the incoming call barring feature. I've googled and read up on this, but still not sure on one point:
It seems that you can bar a number manually or by pressing a button when you receive the call. How does this work with 4 handsets? Have you to bar the call on each one, or does barring on one, set all the others?
I'm not sure if it works on this model (I've read up on so many) but I've also read of a feature where you can allocate incoming calls to groups and set different ring tones so presumably you could allocate withheld calls and international calls to groups to identify them before going to look at the caller display. Does anyone have info on this?

the barring will work on all four, if you bar on one but it rings on the other phone then that would be daft.0

The base station is where the barring takes place, so any handset can flag a call for blocking - but since most of the calls you want to block will either be International, have no CLi or be spoofed, it isn't too successful.0
