If you mean how much of a premium is made up of the advisors commission, there is no set answer.
Its dependent on so many different things (the insurer, the deal the broker has with the insurer, the type of policy among other things).
On the back page of your quote it will tell you how much commission the broker will be receiving - it doesnt always mean the broker will receive the full amount. I only receive about 60% of that figure.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. More if you dont haggle on the price.. A broker can use that comission to give you a lower premium.
So the exact answer is 1p upwards.. Although at 1p i think he may go bust.
Who cares??? If you dont like the price then go elsewhere.
Same with everything. your £700 TV may cost £39.99 to build in some backstreet sweatshop. If you dont like the price then go elsewhere.
I used to deliver for a company that supplied trade fitters. Sometimes we got home deliveries to their customers. Some would ask how much the units cost.
WHY? You paid for the goods service already so its a bit late to shop around or haggle.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
