I have a HOF card which I pay off if there is a balance on it.
Last month there was £38 o/s and a £4 minimum payment. I forgot to pay it back.
This month I have been hit with a £15 charge and over £14 interest.
The ineterest ok, but what is the best way to get the £15 removed, - appeal to their better nature?
I did a search for G E Money, but could not find anything, and most of the threads on here relate to events leading up to taking court action.
Apologies if I am in the wrong forum

You could just make a quick phone call and ask for the charge to be refunded. Given the expense of them having to defend a claim for £15 in court it is worth their while to do so and you might want to mention that if they say no at first

Hi,
Thanks for the advice Twinkly.
I have just telephoned them, and they have waived the charge AND the interest as I paid the balance off in full, which I do any way.0
