A few years ago I would have happily gone into T's and spend over £200 on 2 of us for the 3 days over Xmas and would have thrown so much food away, this year we have a £1 (last years) Mary Berry Cake (made with butter I made for 9p) and a T's finest Xmas pudding whoopsied down to £1 last February, the pork is free via DTD the turkey crown was paid for with survey vouchers, I will be hunting round for whoopsied veg.

I am lucky that I dont HAVE to do these things but I now feel as if I am being mugged if I have to spend more than a few quid of my own money :D

Snap, I used to do all my Xmas shopping in M&S:eek::eek:I just am addicted to saving money and same as you, I feel like I'm being ripped off now;)I'd hate to think how much I spent on choccies, biscuits and wine for Xmas:(Now all well sorted;) This is going to be the most MSE Xmas yet:T

  • Just checked on MSM and Terrys all gold milk are not showing as part of the 3 for £10 on mine but they were this morning x

eeeekkkk! Only got 11 items showing on the 3 for £10 it must be being tweeked!
When I checked this morning there were 31 items, then it changed to 35 and I just refreshed the page and its 36. We need to be careful with our shops and probably a good idea to check MSM immediately before heading out.
  • Results in for the 2 x Terrys All Gold Dark 380g 1 x G&B

    Terrys compared @ £14 to Waitrose £8.36
    G&B @ £5.50 to Waitrose £5.50

So it gave me a £7.06

Unable to show list doing it from works lappie :)

Seems a few of you missed it

Last year was my first MSE Xmas. It was sooo good. I felt great afterwards knowing I hadn't over spent or had to throw anything away. Friends just don't understand why I do it and get so excited when I save money on my shopping. More fool them, thats what I say.:D
