    "mysmith" has been copying deals for ages but usually just says "i saw this on MSE" and never acknowledges OPs

    Can anyone remember, which deal was it he said was going to be "the last one I copy"? Was it the cinema sweets or was it the wine?
    Think it was with the cereals, deo, T-Sauce etc

    FAO of miss (shoe) Queen of cheap

    A car starts from rest and accelerates to a final velocity in two stages along a straight road. Each stage occupies the same amount of time. In stage 1, the magnitude of the car's acceleration is 2.5 m/s2. The magnitude of the car's velocity at the end of stage 2 is 2.7 times greater than it is at the end of stage 1. Find the magnitude of the acceleration in stage 2.

    Since each stage took the same amount of time, then for the first stage,

    a = V/T

    where

    a = acceleration = 2.5 m/sec^2 (given)
    V = velocity of the car at the end of the first stage
    T = time

    Solving for T,

    T = V/a

    T = V/2.5

    For the second stage,

    Vf - V = aT

    where

    Vf = final velocity of the car after the second stage
    V = velocity of car after the first stage
    a = acceleration of the car in the second stage
    T = time for stage 2

    Also, since Vf = 2.7V, then

    2.7V - V = a(T)

    and since T = V/2.5 (determined from stage 1 conditions) then the above becomes

    2.5V - V = a(V/2.5)

    and since V appears on both sides of the equation, it will simply cancel out hence the above equation becomes

    2.5 - 1 = a(1/2.5)

    a = 1.5(2.5)

    a = 3.75 m/sec^2

    I asked my son about your physics Q and 'sent' me this (from upstairs:D) I hope it makes sense to you because it means nothing to me:cool: He says it's basically a maths formulae, which is probably why I don't get it:)

    this apparently is taken from an A level physics paper he has used? And is 'pretty easy when you work it out' (speak for yourself son:rotfl:) I hope it helps and if you understand it, you deserve to pass this course hands down!! :D

    Am I right in thinking the !!!!!! will not give such as good return as from tomorrow? Offer ending in waities?

    I really should have done a couple of shops today but could not find the energy to drag myself out. Only been doing a choc shop every few days so now even though I have done quite a few shops the only things I have 3 or more of are !!!!!! or MT. I wanted 3 of the same of something that we have not opened to put in DDs sacks (pillow cases) this year. I wonder if I will manage it. ;)

    Funny enough just worked out that a G&B + 2FF should generate £7.35 against Sainsbury. Probably better triggers, but I can't remember what my local has apart from the G&B. :D

    I don't think any other triggers add value to the APG

    Thank you Picasso7 for the information on shingles. I was worried because my son, DIL and 2year old grandaughter stayed over the weekend and I didn't know I actually had an illness. Fortunately our little one has had chicken pox so she is safe. I think they are all relieved that I am safe to be around.

    Can I just say a massive thank you to everyone for their get well wishes, you are such lovely people and I really appreciate it x

    Sending you my get well wishes too justmaz. I hope the shingles don't hand around too long. x

    Does anyone know where I can get a cheap/free tax disc holder for DD2s new car. It is not something I have ever had to buy before. Think got mine sent through with my insurance documents years ago. But hers have been printed out from on line. How times change!

    I thought all car dealers gave you their branded ones for free

    Unless it's a private purchase you're talking about?
