Apparently it was meant for charity but got released so that the public could access them. The link has been pulled now I believe x

ah, I see now! that's why I got into trouble for sharing it on here the other day. Didn't know it was for charity. Thanks for letting us know.

I live in a fridge- old victorian windows and gaps in floorboards. Heating could not be on all the time because it would break the bank. Here's a thought for you - the pipes in my downstairs loo froze last year and they are inside the house:D

My GHD straighteners will not work in the very cold mornings- they have an inbuilt protector that will not allow them to be turned on - have to hairdry them for a min before they will kick start. Now quit your whinging and get your vest and hat on:D

    Good Afternoon :)

I got my thermal vest on and wear my hoodie with hood up :D

My heating not been on yet even tho i got a better deal yesterday on my gas/electric :T

Just a gas fire in the living room.

We spent a few winters in a caravan and the gas fire was never on at night :eek:

The snow used to blow through the air vents and ice formed on the inside of the windows!
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

I checked my last company I used eon energy (£2,215.62)

What will I spend in the next 12 months?
You've used 10,588 kWh of electricity
and 23,133 kWh of gas in the last year.

In the next year we estimate you'll spend:

    Electricity £1,294
    Gas £828

    So about £2000 a year.

I did a check with uswitch

Great news, you're already on the cheapest gas and electricity plan!
Had a freind who was getting charged too much because she had one type of meter and they were charging her as if she had another kind? Bit over my head tbh but found this on MSE, might be worth checking

That does happen quite a lot where National Grid ( or their contractors ) come along and replace the meter and mess it up by not informing the suppliers. This usually results in a 4 dial Imperial meter prices being charged to a 5 dial Metric meter, 2.8 times too much, so not EDFs fault but National Grids who get away with all the complaints they cause. Or , as in your case, book it as a job done, and never even turned up to do it. Your account would then have metric meter serial number attached to it.

Certainly toughens you up. The problem is when you go to someone else's house it gets sooo hot.:cool2:

Im just learning and trying to understand all this.

I assume that because these items in red havnt compared that is bad for us shoppers as we need them to compare in order to get some money back for them. Is that correct?
