Evening all.
Brrrr!! It's freezing isn't it. Just had to share that we've had a proper handwritten invitation to afternoon tea or "high tea" as the invite said.
This is for next Sunday and is from the new-ish neighbours next door to us.
I've never been asked to tea before, it's always been lunch, dinner or drinky poo's
Now do you think I'd be OK taking some fab fingers or vinnies as a pressie? My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -

So long as they are not an MSEr :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I would take them, though I would posh them up a bit, bit of cellophane and a big bow
Iamsohappy - so sorry about your mate, so hard at any time of the year, but at this time of the year - awful. I just hope those poor kids can start to enjoy Christmas again at some time in the future, sending out hugs for you and his family. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

High tea and afternoon tea are different (I used to work at a posh hotel)
At the first one you will get a hot meal at the second one you won't. FF and a bottle of £3.50 prosecco would be perfect:)never stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0
