Speaking of tantrums - does anyone remember the advert with the toddler and the mother in the supermarket? The wee boy kicks off at something and the mum gets down on the floor screaming and kicking to show himup - I tried that. Didn't work - she kept on screaming in fright as I'd made it worse :eek: :rotfl:

I remember this too well, I tried it with my DS aswell, frightened the living daylights out of him, it made him scream even more.0 -

Afternoon all :wave::wave:
Having a good day here. Had a friend come round this morning and she had gift vouchers for manicure and pedicure and flowers from work colleagues. So have booked myself in for a treat later in the week.
Feel like house fairly sorted now so had more of a chilled afternoon and got some more xmas presents ordered. Boys still a bit under the weather but definitely improving and both being very cute today. They will be my strength through this.
Got invite for J2O Bzz campaign this afternoon too :jvanilla_twist wrote: »So pleased your meeting with your consultant was so positive today. I know all the elite are thinking of you.
After you have nested and filled the freezer up elite style, one great tip I was given a few years ago when doing a course about coping with extreme exhaustion, was to get a small box and fill it with the things you know you crave when feeling under the weather.
Tips were favourite dvd or music, relaxing bubble bath and special indulgent chocolate, good book or even posh knickers. Anything that you know you like to snuggle up with.
Then if you have a tired day (and you have someone to look after the kids) you can just get out your box and everything you need to relax and indulge is there waiting for you.
Mine was filled with a copy of Cosmo, Sex and the City Movie and Body Shop Divine calm stuff.
Understand wanting to make things easy for eveyone around you but it is important to nuture yourself as you will be no good to anyone if you are exhausted.

Brilliant idea, will have a think about what I could put together
Apologies - Hope all is well ♥
♥ Logie my good friend had the same as you, & like you she saw the positive & now has had the all clear in September. Her wig blew away on Llandudno Pier & she saw that as a final farewell & punched the sky with elation :j:j :T
Love this story! Thankyou x♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥0 -
