Well here is an odd coincidence.
This afternoon I took OH up the D road for a futile look in an extra large T for champagne, DVDS and magazines of which there was none.
Next on the list was a visit to a hill top SADA w here sadly all of the gold fingers had vanished but this store had a lovely selection of triggers.
There was another lady there who seemed to be doing a similar shop and she whispered
Are you a friend of MArtins :rotfl:
I knew anyway it was S who is my big city informant. I had a picture of a blonde lady in my head and she was exactly as I though she would look so even before she said anything I knew it must be her :T
( I was in heavy disguise with my old-lady purple jacket on, normally I am much more fashionable and chic!)
After this 2nd futile shop OH and I intended to carry on the quest and go onto Ancient High House town but our bit of the M6 was a car park yet again so we did an about turn and went onto L Tosco to get the mag - forgotton about this store but S had given me a good tip off
We ended up back at our local store for a choc shop - while I was AWOL for 3 weeks trouts seemed to have moved in, I hope retraining is about to take place ( font size always seems to be a problem with this store)
So what are the odds of me from the depths of the Cheshire plains and someone from the wilds of deepest darkest Staffordshire meeting in the same section of Asda on the hill on a Wednesday afternoon!“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Hi all from a very dark and dismal Thanet!
I had a great shop today in Tescos - I bought 6 bottles of the Finest Ryan Rose and a bottle of Finest Tawny port - details as follows:
Ryan rose 8.99 x 6 = 53.94
Port 11.50
Total 65.44
less 2 for £12 17.94)
less 25% 16.36) 34.30
To pay 31.14
less MOCs 20.00
Actually paid 11.14!!!!!!!!
The MOCs were a combination of Clubcard vouchers (£5 doubled up to £10 against Finest wines and an odd £2 voucher) and 4 x £2 MOCs from the Tesco mag against Finest food/drink.
I'm sooooo pleased!! A few years ago I would have done my shopping and just paid the price without any thought of using vouchers/coupons etc but now I know better thanks to this site. It's incredible to think that since I was widowed 3 years ago I am now actually in a much better place financially than I ever was when I was married! I have a spare bedroom full of stuff (thank you Asda) which is going to save me a fortune in the next 12 months which means that I will have spare money to spend on future glitches. I just wish that this sort of information and advice had been available when I was first married at 25 instead of it taking me 30 years to come to it! I could have saved a fortune!0 -

The wee boy kicks off at something and the mum gets down on the floor screaming and kicking to show himup - I tried that. Didn't work - she kept on screaming in fright as I'd made it worse  :rotfl:0 -
