Evening all,
What a busy day
Hospital appt went as well as we could have hoped for
Histology has confirmed classical Hodgkins lymphoma which according to the consultant is good  Scan from Thursday showing no obvious other tumours :j So I don't have to have a bone marow biopsy and the plan is to start chemo next week. As i'm youngish (31) and my tumour is big (10-15cm ) they are going to go for the intensive rather than standard chemo as I should tolerate it ok. Am a bit nervous but more than ready to get on with things now.
So I've been on a mission this afternoon.....
Hair appt booked to chop it all off before it falls out, dentist arranged to get the once over, new pillows, cushion pads and cleaning bits bought. Must get house clean! Feel like i'm nesting again like before I had Harry
Also had till spit arrive with my Sains home delivery for £6 off £30 spend so would have been rude not to have relieved them of a few more baby wipes and nappies :rotfl:
Thanks once again for all of your thoughts :A
Hi Logie
Just wanted to say that I really admire your attitude to dealing with this
And to let you know that a cousin of mine was diagnosed with exactly the same about 15 years ago. She too had a young family and we were worried how she'd cope with the treatment.
She was fantastic, said she was happier for knowing that she was fighting it ....and it wasn't as bad as she'd feared.
She went on to make a full recovery and has never looked back.
So wishing you and yours all the very best :A:AMy husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -

But the crux is, it shows for someone, so guess it's a no go.
Can you say buy 2 of any 3 for 2 chocolate and a trigger item which kicks in the 3 for £10 promo without appearing on the receipt so it considers the other two as being bought at full price? (or is it just FF)0 -

Do share as the missus is after some for Xmas and will no doubt save a few quid
Hey,
I was intrigued by this too if u look at the top right corner by the pages u can search the thread I did just that.
I found a post back on 26/11 looks like Mr T's was doing a deal on Disney DVD's possibly a BOGOFF or buy one get one half price. Anyway i'm reading that if you find the ones with 1/2 price stickers on they scan at full price then u go to CS to get DTD I think, so best to use self service or the SA might notice the sticker and reduce it for uStarted Saving in 2012!!!
