    Afternoon folks,
Just had a hop skip and jump through the thread, thanks for all the good wishes. x
The good news is we have not had rain today , been bright , sunny and windy but we had rain overnight!
We sneaked down to have a look at the water levels this morning and the river has gone down, but with the forecast it will soon be back up no doubt!
There is a meeting with the enviroment agency at 11 am tomorrow, so will know more then .
I dont think we will be allowed home tomorrow but again depends on the weather!
I just want to know whats ruined so we can get sorted out.
Thanks again all of you xx

Thanks for the update bubbs. Hope you can get home soon and the rain keeps at bay. Sending hugs.
    Caz

    Kids eh  :rotfl: :rotfl:

DS4 December 2010 upgraded his contract phone, can't remember what type it was but it was an all singing and dancing one I do know
ANyway, one night at a gig, he went to sit on his drum stool and heard a crack, he says he thought it was the stool shifting on the floor  after the gig he was looking for is phone, he soon found it in his back pocket of his jeans

youv'e guessed it  one cracked screen :cool:

Oh dear bet that cost to repair :(

DS was going to get his on contract but he was going touring USA for 5 weeks couple weeks after getting it.

So i told him to think very carefully about contract phone and think sim free ;) and pay & go sim with o2 . Sensible son went sim free way and got some sim in USA on pay & go. :T

He said infuture he will go the sim free way works out cheaper in the long run. :T

Ok folks, update on the Real Food Mag. Picked up a few copies of the mag in store today. Inside the mag there are 2 Advertising Promotional inserts which fold out but are fixed inside the mag. These have MOC attached to the back of them :). These inserts DO NOT appear in the .pdf version as they are an advertising promotion . If you can get your mitts on a copy they are defo worth saving.

The first insert comes between pages 46 and 47 (entitled Finest - eat drink and be merry). The voucher is for £2 off a £10 spend on Finest Food and drink, expires 6 Jan 13 :D. There is a also a code to redeem on an online shop. I know peeps are looking at doubling up some of their cc vouchers for finest wine/fizz and I believe this voucher would work in conjuction with that, so ideally spend from wed to get maximum benefit (wine festival) - please correct me if I'm wrong.

The second insert is between pages 86 and 87 and is advertising A fresh christmas feast. The last page has a coupon for £3 off £12 spend on dairy, valid until 30 Dec. Coupon includes christmas gift packs and cheese boards, excludes eggs. Suppose you could use it on the cheeseboard with the port.:D

Glad I picked up a few copies ;) now. HTH

NB, be very careful clipping the coupons from the mag as the barcode is very easy to tear as it's right in the spine of the mag

i'm sure i've seen these! I had a flick through, but didn't see any inserts! maybe some stores don't have the inserts in the mags? thanks for letting us know about the vouchers:)

DS text me last night just before i went bed.

Made me think of Lala's DS . ;)

I wondered why DS not replied to my texts now i know why.

He dropped his I-Phone down the toilet  last week and couldnt get to I-Shop til yesterday due to working. They replaced it but it cost him £120 for replacement like he says cheaper than a new one.

Curious me asked how he managed to drop it down the toilet :D

Answer :rotfl: He was texting when he was weeing  :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Classic :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Queen of cheap you moan away :)
I am lucky im still alive and have most things still just a few things that yes i could have done without loosing but these can be replaced, bit of a pain as washing machine is only 10 months old but hey ho its a washing machine!

Would your washing machine not be covered by it's own guarantee. or would that be voided by it being flood damaged?
