Christmas Cake kit reduced from £10 to £5 instore today - hopefully like last year these will be reduced even more over next week or so. These were in a large pallet near the entrance to the store but interestingly were not on the home baking section.

HTH someone - I still have one from last year to bake!

There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

I bought some of the Mary berry ones reduced to 20p last year. I used the little pouches of booze to make toadies when I had a cold :rotfl::rotfl: and put the rest in the cupboard. My OH asked if we had any dried fruit to put in with the apples from the tree last week to make apple pie.....so they went in that. Very nice it was too!

Still a couple of bags of flour and icing in the cupboard. Don't do Xmas cake as only me likes it:(

Had a quite day, well actually not that quite for me, friend 1 sent hubby round with card and flowers as she was working, friend 2 came round with her small grandson and gift.
Opened cards and present to myself - new Dolce Gusto coffee machine.
Spent rest of the day at my Mums, she gave me money for new bag and boots and watch I had bought. Well actually several bags and pairs of boots as I now need flat easy to get on footwear and a girl can never have too many handbags. All from the summer Debenhams sale at 70% off, seemed a bit odd buying boots in August, but great now I can wear them.
She didn't want to go out, but wanted to make me a meal, I ended up doing the cooking of course, she is 82 and I feel lucky to have her around to celebrate my 55th birthday.

Just been catching up, haven't had so many people wish me happy birthday since I had to take ill health retirement from teaching special school aged 43,
    so thank you.

Wow thought I had done well with £1 a bag! Yes only me and OH eat it - kids won't entertain it (but will eat pannetone). So usually get a pre made one in sales but couldn't resist this. Will hold out for 20p then - like the idea of toddy's and boozy fruit with apples.

Well best get to bed - sweet dreams everyone.

    Good morning everyone

Well, I finally signed up to facebook and tried to get a free delivery code on the spin to win from BHS page. The page took forever to load and when I'd finally had enough and refreshed it, it looked like I got my spin and never even saw it

I do look forward to some attempts at winning things though :)

Hi Tweets, what is the BHS page please? I know about the Bacardi spin to win and have just discovered the Heinz game but don't think I've seen this one yet. TIA :A
