I think Sharon-p is near as well - maybe she is cleaning it
Did I hear my name mentioned lol, been trying to play catch up for days. Yes the new store is just down the road from me, been down a few timesBeen mental most of the week and none of the choc triggers. Car park is clean as a whistle as theres still tons of trolley boys on keeping the place spick and span. Did manage a £1.62 apg from my 1st womble on Tue and a £5 off £40 today :T I'd say give it a few weeks to all the big bosses have disappeared and the staff arent just so keen and we may be more lucky xx

My mum's cousin lives there too and her daughter went on opening day and took loads of photos of the full trollies that everyone was coming out with, she was shocked!
We've all stated that it'll be a week or so before any of us enter the store but even then I think it'll still be chaos.
It was quieter this afternoon SD, could actually get a choice of parking spaces (mine was as far away from the door as I could get without looking weird:rotfl:) Still loads of massive trolley loads going out....the woman in front of me spent £180:eek:
Apparently some lady decided to camp out Sun night to be the first in store on Mon but she got so drunk that the police had to be called to take her away 15 mins before opening:rotfl::heart2:Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.:heart2:0 -

Don't think she was as posh as champagne. SIL has a job there and said she had to be carried to the police car:rotfl: Only in P'down!!
No big gifts for first instore, a cheap bunch of flowers and a gift card (don't know how much for but not worth freezing your backside off all night!) Evening all,
Haven't been around much lately. Lots of things to do and been at deaths door with a severe case of man flu:rotfl: Feeling much better today though.
I posted recently about my PP for Andrex being wiped out by a reduced item being compared. Someone(celebrate?) confirmed that T do compare reduced price items. I must have just been lucky in the past with whoopsies being n/a
Was a bit annoyed about this and have made a number of calls about this when promised return phone calls didn't happen. Raised my profile a bit so don't want to go into too much detail. After persevering I did eventually get a very apologetic call from a senior CS manager who completely agreed with my point that the T FAQs (No 8) clearly state that reduced to clear items cannot be used as a fair comparison. He promised that he would be asking the PP team why this happens and what steps they would be taking to prevent it happening in future. I guess I may not be the first to raise this issue? Here's hoping that if enough people complain then this issue may be resolved for the unwary(like me:o)Awaiting a new sig0 -
I think I would die if someone I know spotted me wombling.:o
I went to pick a receipt up of the floor at the top of the escalators, missed it and nearly went head first down the escalator :eek::eek: i tried to cover it up by dropping my handbag but was so:o

I love messy people.
I saw the litter picker the other day - I started at the other end of the carpark and we met in the middle.
You only have one.? We must have about 8 at a time on in our car park and they're keen as mustard.0
