  • Think Armageddon just hit here. Severe gales, rain hard enough to split your skull and the road turned into a river within 5 minutes. We are ok here (up a hill) but I don't know how the people at the bottom are doing.

Planning a shopping trip tonight - that will be fun :D Could be worse, this time last year we were living in a caravan at Land's End!

Hello, Not a glitch as such, but T do have whole chickens usually 4.50, on offer for half price at the moment, and the usual problems with pricing and labeling has meant that some have been getting DTD, ie free chicken, when they have been charged 4.50 and the SEL said 2.25. Worth a look maybe??

Hi Emily, do you know if these chickens have the giblets in, or have they been removed? I'm no good with removing the entrails of a bird, but if these don't have the giblets then I might give them a try (2.25 for a whole chicken is an awesome price as far as I'm concerned!). Not sure if I can stomach actually having to remove them myself, though... _pale_

I've never known these chickens to contain them. I've on occasion had gibblets in a bag (different brand) but that's it.
  • Hi

I've been gone a lil while but back today for an hour or so.

    Lovely productive day :j

Went to morries and the coke truck was outside so got a nice free can :D

Went inside and a voice over the tannoy said there was a vegetable peeler giveaway, no purchase necessary! Headed to the aisle and there was a man demonstrating some knives, couldn't really see but at the end he handed out the free peelers :D quite unusual, they cut spirally so might try that out later!

Got 4 cardboard WW meals with coupons but trout noticed the price difference and amended, same with the wench BUT, their 10 Frankfurters Classic are currently £1 so got those free :D she also didn't notice the multibuy discount on the WW so got £2 off Dead Island XBox 360 game that was only £10!! It's my sister's boyfriend's birthday today so that's perfect and only £8!! :D

Also walked around for wombles but not even looked at those yet!

So, tanku so much to OP for the morries xbox info and also the ww deal :D tanku tanku tanku :A

Good afternoon to all, happy birthday if it's your special day and hugs to all :D

How are the elite this afternoon? xXx

The last time I got a chicken with giblets still in I got a full refund.
No supermarkets that I know sell poultry that isn't fully gutted.

Thanks Wendy and Emily. It's very silly but I never bought a chicken from the supermarket because I was afraid they'd come with the giblets. I know better now, thanks to you. Cheap chickens here I come! :D
