It is an ongoing error and one I highlighted when I first mentioned the muller glitch. I was told at CS that the issues is that the tills cannot see more that 15/16 or so items on a multibuy so when you buy 20, the two 10 for £4 multibuys won't work, only a 10 for £4 and I think maybe the 6 for £3. Apparently there should be signs saying the maximum is 10 but there never are. I guess they hope people will buy more and lose out on the deal without noticing.

I seen that very sign the other day.
There were a couple of them hanging on the fridges and it had the 2 offers written on it and then a maximum of 10 per transaction underneath

When he saw him on Sunday he had a piece of elastic around his wrist with a key on it;)Thats when he confessed he kept losing it and locking himself out:rotfl:Then we realised that a few of his friends had them on too, so I think they are trying to make it trendy (And practical ;)) I think they are all the same were he is, the porters are even told to pay taxis if the students have'nt got enough money!! You've got all this to come;)

The students union at Queen's over in NI have an account with the firm I used to work with, if a student finds they don't have enough money for a taxi but have their union card with them they used to be able to phone the firm and state this, they had to give the driver their union card and sign a docket with the fare on it, both of these had to be handed into the depot at the end of the shift and someone from the union would collect them each week and pay the fare. They would then contact the student to reclaim the money.
I thought it was a good idea because at that time there were a lot of rapes being reported in the student areas and the main reason may gave for walking home alone was no cash for a taxi.
At that time I gave many a lift to girls walking on their own for free, most of them took down my driver number to get the money back to me. One girls dad was so pleased I'd done this for his baby that he thanked me himself but my thoughts were always 'what if that was my sister, cousin or daughter?' I would like to think that someone would do that for them.

Thanks for this code, does anyone know if it can be used in conjunction with the double up promotion? I was umming and ahhing about the pans on deal of the day this morning and this may well persuade me!

    In short, no.

Tried it out on my account , says it cannot be used with any other code. Its naughty really as the clubcard tokens are a method of payment rather than a discount.

From memory, its been an issue on previous double ups

Am I being thick here? I don't understand:)

If they are 10 for £4 or 6 for £3, it states only1 multibuy can be used, so 4 lots of 6 @ £3 = £12 so undercharged at £10.40
    or 2 lots of 10 x £4 = £8 + 4 x 60p= £2.40 = charged correct price of £ 10.40 so I don't get where thye overcharge is?

Can anyone point out where I'm going wrong please?

You're not going wrong lol I am sorry! My maths was right if I had been charged correctly but as the discount didn't come off right I actually paid £1.65 more than I said, that was refunded at CS along with the £2 giftcard.

    :doh::doh::doh:

    Sorry!

In the store I looked in on the red sign for the deal (can't remember the exact words) but it states only one deal available so they wouldn't pay me for being overcharged - it certainly wasn't very clear

Either it's missing or it's very well hidden but I can't recall ever seeing anything other than the red labels with the 6 for/10 for offers on it.

Is there anyway I could take them back or would they smack my a$$ all over the shop floor?

I don't know whether to avoid it or go there just for the fun of it :rotfl:

I've only returned once on a failed shop 'lost my receipt' and was given a gift card no problem.
