Tomorrow is Auntielala's sixth and final chemo:j I are hoping Radiotherapy will not be required as this has been a long an tiring journey for her and feel she now needs to build herself up and rebuild her life.I would just like to thank all you special people on here who have really been such a great support to me.The glitches and couponing have given me lots to think about whilst I have been away from home (almost 6months)and missing my DD Lala and has really help:T

Will be thinking about Auntielala tomorrow :)
  • afternoon all

just catching up. No shopping for me today. finished work, picked up kids and came home to cuddle up in the warm :)

we have a lovely sausage and (5) bean casserole simmering in the slow cooker, a kids film on and a nice snuggly duvet. Its bliss :)

hope everyone else is having a good day, shopping or otherwise.

I'm going to have a browse online for some xmas craft ideas, I'm getting more excited than the kids :o
  • Yeh just sussed it

dunno why martin made a big song and dance about letting everyone know at 3pm ( was there a code ?)

I downloaded the app this morning and the offers were there.

Really? The free fairy powder was on it this morn? That was the fuss was being made about cos it's a £4 voucher I guess. Prehaps the app didn't mean to or wrong info then.. still.. If I can get this offer to work is £4 saves ha.

And also as Missbailey said, I hope it's not insensitive either, I appreciate some are going through hard times xxxx

    Hi all,

Not been about much. Been trying to keep busy and get organised for the times ahead. Batch cooking like a woman posessed and slowly deep cleaning the house :)

Not much more to report from me yet. Got to have a special scan done to help determine how much the lymphoma has spread before we can think about treatment plan but they struggled to fit me in locally. So off on a trek to Essex/Herts border tomorrow from the fens to have that done. Closer than my other option of Taunton though! Will make a day of it with OH as not allowed home for 6 hours after scan as not allowed prolonged contact with children as i'll be giving off radiation

Am feeling a bit more positive at the moment. Went on a coupon/whoopsie run the other evening and felt a bit like myself again. Had some vouchers arrive from Ts baby club and got a few bits for the stash. Helped to take my mind off things for a little while.

Also had Persil non bio Bzz kit arrive this week. So stocked up on some more of that with coupons in the kit whilst it's on offer in Ts.

Hope everyone else doing ok. Have been skipping a lot recently. Thanks for all of the support :A

So glad you are feeling positive. Keep your chin up. Will be thinking of you tomorrow.xxx:A

  • Has anyone had any trouble spending apgs? Do they pay attention to the receipt and query a £8 apg against a £11 spend? :-)

Depends who you get at the till. An old bat I had a while ago would not allow me to use it as I had only spent £4 in hard cash and used an apg voucher on the previous receipt.

Sometimes, it's a doddle though. The cashier doesn't even look at the receipt, just folds the voucher up and shoves it in their till.

Luck of the draw I guess.
