If you are planning to keep them in both places then just copy and paste. Or if you are planning to keep them on just the external hard drove then Cut and paste. However you have to be sure before you cut and paste as you may lose them. HTH

Thanks for that rose :beer: I had taken all photos off old laptop and desk comp and saved on discs but I can't take any copies off the discs to put on new laptop and desk comp So what I've been doing is going onto Sada, Tosco etc where I have had photos printed and transfering them back over, then I can put them onto Hard drive

I bet I'm doing it the longest way and the hardest way but never mind, I'll learn one day no doubt :rotfl:

just learned that stacking 2 cardboard boxes containing 60 tins of beans in each on top of 2 cardboard boxes half full of boxes of chocolates inside does not work....

cue loud crashing and tins of beans rolling round room

Chocolates undamaged most importantly!
