Shop charging to top up a prepay key

Hi all
A shop down the road to me have started charging £1 to top up a key if you don't buy anything from the shop is this allowed I wouldn't have thought it was as surely they will make some profit from the machine?

Not allowed...report it to the supplier. You must use cash to make payment though. The commission is only 13p so it isn't enough to cover the debit/credit card fee.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)

Are you using a card to pay, my local shop charges 50p if using a card but nothinng if paying cash.Slimming World at target0 -
