Rushden NewYear

We are going on caravan rally over the New Year staying at Rushden.northamptonshire.Our evenings are planned with the group but will be looking for things to do,places to visit during the day.Two Middle Ages couples and one dog - any suggestions please.

    althorp not too far but do not know if open to public then - also the triangular lodge if you are into historic buildings - there is a newist country park close by the name of which escapes me at the mo.

    Rushden itself does not have a lot in the same is true of all close towns, if you like golf there is a course open to public at delapre in Northampton
