Student mobile contract deals

I've never seen such a thread in this section and was curious to know if anyone knows of any decent student deals hovering around. These are the ones I currently know of...
Orange - Offer a range of deals and free mobiles. Up to 1,500 text and extras on 18 month deal inc unlimited calles to one number (which can be changed ever 6 months).
3 - Some very good deals however the latest phones are limited and coverage may be a problem in certain area's (so I'm told anyway).
Vodafone - Have this offer which is sim only (so no free phone) on a month-to-month contract. However the website tells me it no longer exists and it's been like that for a month or two. They also have another deal (here) however in my opinion it's pathetic. You have to have been a customer since March 2003 if you click 'find out more'.
Dot Mobile - I don't know much about them but assume they are a genuine company the amount of flyer's I get given when on campus. They use units rather than allocating you with XXX mins and text messages in your line rental which could get a little confusing. They have some good deals but there will be much better out there.
* These deals may have expired by the time some people read this so please don't blame me if they no longer exist *
So far I can't find any for T-Mobile, Virgin mobile and O2 which is surprising (especially O2).
Anyone had any experiences of getting student deals in store? How about companies such as Carphone Warehouse and Phones4U? Do they offer student deals?

I love my mobile deal, I'm not on contract but am a student on Vodafone. I bought my sim card when they had a "top up £15 per month and get 500 free texts a month for life" deal, since then I've added vodafone family to get free calls to some of my friends, and also have free weekends. As currently a £15 top up using a debit or credit card directly to vodafone gives you an extra 10% credit, I currently receive 500 free texts a month, free weekend calls and texts, unlimited calls to my vodafone family and £11.50 credit for £15 a month, bargain!0

My contract is coming to an end.. not a minute too soon either, I swear I got the worst dealf rom 02 possible, the longer your with a service provider the worse deal you get lumbered with, should so be the other way round!!! Anyway having looked at deals available for students in particular at the moment, I think dotmbile student deals still offer the best value for money, if only they had the iphone *sigh*0
