Hi hope someone can help.
I'm writing my budget for a DRO and Im stuck on an amount for gifts and baby items. Can someone give me a maximum amount allowed please.
Also I'm due another baby in december and I've been told that it can take 8-9 weeks to process, do I include the new benefits and expense for an extra baby or not?
Thanks in advance.

Hello there.
Baby items (if you mean nappies etc.) would generally be included within the housekeeping section of the budget. Gifts would usually be included within 'other spending'. Rather than looking at individual amounts for these items your money adviser would normally look at the overall figures for these sections - and so long as the totals are reasonable you should have no problems with your application.
In relation to the question about the extra baby it would depend on when baby's due. You must alert your money adviser about the situation, they should be able to ensure that your application is accurate - and more importantly - successful.
Best wishes,
