I'm getting a message on my laptop saying I need a new battery; do I really need one, it says about 50% power and I usually use it on mains, if so do I have to buy from Dell or is there somewhere else I could get it from?
thanks

Well, most of the time I use it on mains but when I'm on holiday I'll probably need to use it on battery to get wi-fi so can anyone suggest the best place to get a replacement...and the type I need to look for? Thanks0

I think what he meant to say was that if you took the battery out whilst you were using it via mains power, you wouldn't have a depleted battery in the first place.
I've just have my Lithium Ion battery repacked for £24. I'm in Thailand though.0 -
if it's under a year old then Dell will replace it for free, otherwise you can get genuine Dell ones for half the price you would pay Dell directEx forum ambassador

Of course I've heard of Google but I was hoping for a personal recommendation! I thought someone on this forum would know of a reliable, dependable company and not mind sharing the information. If you've been thanked nearly 2000 times it can't just be for telling people to look at google. Thanks anyhow!0
